Starter Locs

One of the many things I love about myself is my hair. As a semi-introverted woman, my hair versatility has allowed me to express myself in ways clothes or another styling cannot.

I've worn MY hair long, short, curly, and straight.. I've colored it jet black, brown, blond, and red.. I've done all types of styles.. braids, twists, updos, perms/relaxers, etc., and worn wigs.

My hair journey reflects my inward spirit... free, unrestrained, candid, comfortable, natural, etc. Even though I've never wanted my hair to define me, it has shaped my personality, love for myself, and professionalism in many ways.

And now, I'm on a new hair journey. Ya girl is getting locs! I started my locs journey on 01.18.2023 with comb coils by the fabulous Ms. Barbara s/o to @harmonyexpressed for the connect.

It has taken me eight years to finally follow through with the process and fully immerse myself in this experience. I'm beyond excited to document this journey as I fully bloom into myself, truly.
